Aban International School is inviting applications for the position of MYP Coordinator. We are looking for an experienced academic leader to guide the development and implementation of our IB Middle Years Programme.

Key responsibilities
• Lead MYP curriculum planning, implementation and programme development
• Coordinate curriculum mapping, interdisciplinary learning and assessment practices
• Mentor teachers and support their career development
• Monitor student progress and promote inclusive, inquiry-based learning
• Ensure programme documentation and implementation align with IB requirements
• Collaborate with the Academic Leadership Team, teachers, parents and the PYP Coordinator Qualifications and experience
• Master’s degree with B.
Ed., M.
Ed. or equivalent qualification




• Minimum 4–5 years of direct experience in the IB MYP programme
• Experience in curriculum coordination, development and teacher mentoring
• Prior involvement in an IB MYP authorisation or evaluation process is essential
• Previous experience as an MYP Coordinator or in a similar IB academic leadership role is preferred
