About Magnifly: Media Magnifly Media is a digital marketing and creative agency working across Social Media Marketing, Influencer Marketing, Content Production, Branding, Photography & Videography, and Digital Marketing. We work with brands across hospitality, F&B;, bars, cafés, clubs, nightlife, lifestyle, entertainment, and events. Role Overview: We are looking for a Video Editor Team Lead with 2-4 years of experience in social media, advertising agencies, events, or creative production. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in creating Reels, short-form content, event videos, and branded campaigns, along with experience handling clients from hospitality, F&B;, bars, cafés, clubs, nightlife, lifestyle, and entertainment. You should have a strong creative eye, understand current social media trends, storytelling, pacing, and visual aesthetics, and be able to translate creative briefs into engaging content. Experience managing multiple clients and working in a fast-paced agency workplace will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities
• Manage the day-to-day work of the video editing team.
• Assign editing tasks, manage priorities, and ensure timely delivery of content.
• Review and maintain the quality of video content before final delivery.
• Edit engaging Instagram Reels, short-form videos, event videos, campaign videos, and branded content.
• Work on content for hospitality, F&B;, bars, cafés,



clubs, nightlife, lifestyle, entertainment, and other consumer brands.
• Understand creative briefs and convert concepts into engaging visual stories.
• Work closely with the Social Media, Creative, Design, Photography, Production, and Account teams.
• Handle content requirements for events, launches, campaigns, shoots, and social media calendars.
• Develop editing styles based on the brand identity, target audience, and campaign objective.
• Stay updated with Instagram trends, Reels formats, transitions, audio trends, editing styles, and emerging content formats.
• Conduct quality checks and provide constructive feedback to the editing team.
• Manage multiple brands and projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
• Coordinate with the production and shoot teams to understand footage and content requirements.
• Handle client/internal feedback and revisions efficiently.
• Maintain proper organisation of raw footage, project files, assets, and final exports.
• Participate in creative brainstorming and contribute ideas for campaigns, events, shoots, and social media content.
• Experiment with new editing techniques, motion graphics, transitions,



and storytelling formats.

Requirements:
• 2-4 years of professional experience in video editing, preferably with a social media agency, advertising agency, events company, production house, or creative agency.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating Reels, short-form videos, event content, branded content, and campaign videos.
• Experience working with or handling clients from hospitality, F&B;, bars, cafés, clubs, nightlife, restaurants, lifestyle, entertainment, or events.
• Strong understanding of Instagram and other short-form video platforms.
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects & Capcut, with the ability to handle video editing, motion graphics, transitions, and basic visual effects.
• Strong understanding of pacing, cuts, transitions, sound design, colour correction, typography, and visual storytelling.
• Ability to understand brand guidelines and maintain visual consistency.
• Strong creative eye and attention to detail.
• Experience managing, guiding, or mentoring a team of video editors.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work under tight deadlines.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills are important.
• Ability to understand feedback and execute revisions efficiently.
• Willingness to work on event shoots and time-sensitive content requirements when required. Portfolio is mandatory.
