Role Description The Finance Intern role is a remote internship designed for individuals interested in gaining practical experience in finance and accounting. On a day-to-day basis, the intern will assist with reviewing and analyzing financial data, supporting the preparation and interpretation of financial statements, and helping maintain accurate accounting records. The role includes contributing to basic budgeting and forecasting tasks, generating simple financial reports, and supporting internal documentation related to financial activities. The intern will collaborate with team members, communicate findings clearly,



and apply analytical skills to support decision-making in a training-focused environment. Qualifications
• Robust analytical skills to interpret data, identify trends, and support financial decision-making.
• Foundational knowledge of finance concepts and an interest in corporate and startup financial practices.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and processes, including recordkeeping and reconciliations.
• Ability to work with and interpret financial statements such as income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills for collaborating with team members and presenting financial insights.
• Enrollment in or recent completion of an undergraduate program in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets and financial tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets); familiarity with accounting or ERP software is a plus.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently in a remote setting while managing deadlines.
