Role OverviewAs a Social Media Marketing Intern, you will be responsible for promoting Insightful Duo's articles across social media platforms and transforming existing research and written content into engaging social media formats. You will work on creating educational posts, carousels, stories, and short-form videos (Reels/Shorts) while helping us develop a consistent social media presence. This role is suitable for someone interested in content marketing, social media strategy, digital communication, and audience growth.

Key Responsibilities
1. Article Promotion and Content Distribution
• Promote newly published articles across relevant social media platforms.
• Create engaging posts, carousels, and stories to introduce readers to our articles.
• Repurpose previously published articles into bite-sized, easy-to-understand content.
• Write engaging captions, hooks, descriptions, and calls to action.
• Identify suitable ways to drive readers from social media to the website. 2. Social Media Content Creation
• Develop educational and informative content around economics, taxation, governance, public policy, society, and current affairs.
• Convert complex topics and research findings into simple, visually appealing content.
• Create short-form videos, Reels, and other engaging formats.
• Experiment with different content formats, presentation styles, and creative approaches.
• Develop original content ideas relevant to Insightful Duo's audience. 3. Social Media Management




• Assist in managing and maintaining our social media presence.
• Prepare and maintain a content calendar.
• Schedule and publish posts consistently.
• Monitor audience engagement, comments, shares, and other interactions.
• Research relevant trends and identify opportunities to improve our content strategy. 4. Performance Tracking and Improvement
• Track key metrics such as reach, impressions, engagement, profile visits, video views, and website traffic.
• Prepare periodic performance reports.
• Analyse which content formats and topics perform well.

A Letter of Recommendation may be considered separately based on the intern's overall performance, quality of work, initiative, reliability, and contribution to Insightful Duo.
