Role Description The Clerk Excise will support excise and regulatory compliance activities at VKM Liquor LLP’s facility in Nahan. This full-time, on-site role involves maintaining accurate excise records, assisting with documentation related to production, storage, and dispatch of liquor, and ensuring that entries are updated in relevant registers and systems. The role includes preparing and organizing statutory forms, coordinating with internal teams and excise authorities for inspections or verifications, and helping to reconcile stock levels with excise reports. The Clerk Excise will also assist in tracking licenses, permits, and renewals,



report discrepancies or compliance issues promptly, and follow company policies and safety standards while handling sensitive regulatory documents. Qualifications
• Candidates should possess robust record-keeping and documentation skills, with attention to detail in maintaining registers and excise-related forms.
• Candidates should possess basic understanding of excise regulations, taxation procedures, and statutory compliance in the liquor or FMCG sector.
• Candidates should possess proficiency in using computers and office software (e.g., MS Excel, Word) for data entry, reporting, and documentation.
• Candidates should possess effective communication and coordination skills to work with internal teams and external regulatory authorities.
• Candidates should possess good numerical ability and analytical skills to reconcile stock, invoices, and excise reports.
• Candidates should possess high standards of integrity, reliability, and the ability to handle confidential regulatory information responsibly.
• Completion of secondary education; a diploma or degree in commerce, business administration, or a related field is an added advantage.
• Prior experience in excise, accounting, or compliance within the alcoholic beverages or manufacturing industry will be considered beneficial.
