Role Description The Mine Manager is responsible for overseeing day-to-day mining operations at the on-site granite mine located in Chimakurthy. This full time role includes planning and supervising production activities, coordinating mine development, and ensuring adherence to safety regulations and environmental standards. The Mine Manager monitors ore quality, manages equipment utilization, and works closely with engineering, geology, and maintenance teams to optimize output and reduce downtime. The role also involves preparing and managing budgets, tracking operational costs, and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. The Mine Manager leads and mentors site personnel, manages workforce scheduling,



and maintains clear reporting to senior management on production performance and safety metrics. Qualifications
• Candidates should possess strong Mine Planning and Mining Engineering skills to design, schedule, and optimize mining operations.
• Candidates should possess solid Mine Safety knowledge to implement and enforce safety standards, risk assessments, and regulatory compliance.
• Candidates should possess Budgeting capabilities to manage operational costs, prepare forecasts, and support financial decision-making.
• Candidates should possess applied Geology skills to understand deposit characteristics, guide extraction plans, and maintain resource quality.
• Relevant qualifications such as a degree or diploma in Mining Engineering, Geology, or a related field are beneficial.
• Prior experience in open-pit or quarry mining operations, preferably in granite or stone, is highly advantageous.
• Demonstrated leadership, team management, and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate diverse site personnel.
