About the Role
We are seeking a WordPress Developer with a passion for creative problem-solving and systems architecture. In this role, you will not simply install third-party plugins or tweak pre-built themes; you will build custom plugins, design bespoke Gutenberg blocks, optimize core web vitals, and bridge WordPress with third-party APIs and headless frontends. Key Responsibilities
• Build Solutions: Design and develop custom WordPress plugins, theme systems, and database structures tailored to complex requirements without unnecessary bloat.
• System Optimization & Refactoring: Unpack legacy codebases, identify performance bottlenecks (SQL profiling, object caching), and invent more efficient solutions.
• Integrations & Modern Stack: Build secure REST/GraphQL API integrations connecting WordPress with CRMs, payment gateways, and external SaaS platforms.
• Custom Block Development:



Create custom dynamic Gutenberg blocks using React and WordPress Block API to empower marketing teams with flexible site-building capabilities. Qualifications & Competencies
• Problem-Solving Mindset: Demonstrated curiosity to break down difficult technical constraints and devise original, elegant solutions.
• Core Technical Stack: Advanced knowledge of contemporary PHP (OOP), MySQL, JavaScript (ES6+, React), WP-CLI, and Git workflows.
• Deep Platform Understanding: Thorough mastery of WordPress hooks, filter lifecycle, transient/object caching, custom post types, rewrite rules, and database schema customization.
· Hosting & Cloud Deployment: Hands-on experience hosting and configuring WordPress on Nginx or Apache web servers, along with a solid understanding of cloud deployments (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP). Autonomy & Systems Thinking: Able to take loosely scoped business problems and independently build structured, end-to-end solutions.
