Role Description The PGT Economics role is a full-time, in office teaching position based at Gyan Jyoti Awasiya Vidyalaya in Arrah. The educator will plan and deliver engaging Economics lessons for higher secondary classes, aligned with the prescribed curriculum and the school’s pedagogical approach based on Bloom’s Taxonomy. Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, teaching theoretical and applied economics concepts, guiding learners through problem-solving and data interpretation, and using smart classroom technology to enhance learning. The role involves designing and assessing assignments, projects, and examinations,



providing academic support and mentoring to students, and maintaining accurate records of learner performance. Qualifications
• Candidates should possess strong subject knowledge in Economics, including microeconomics, macroeconomics, and applied areas relevant to senior secondary levels.
• Candidates should possess skills in Economic Modeling and Health Economics to explain real-world applications and policy-related aspects of the subject.
• Candidates should possess sound Analytical Skills and proficiency in Statistics to teach data interpretation, quantitative reasoning, and empirical analysis.
