Bangalore Employment Type: Permanent Capco is looking for an experienced Security Risk Consultant to join its Technology & Engineering team. We are seeking a cybersecurity professional with strong expertise in security risk assessments, threat modelling, vulnerability management, and technology risk management, preferably within financial services or other regulated environments. ?

Key Responsibilities
• Assess existing security controls and evaluate their effectiveness against cybersecurity and technology risks.
• Identify threats, vulnerabilities, control gaps, and potential risk scenarios.
• Conduct threat and risk assessments across infrastructure, cloud environments, applications, and technology platforms.
• Recommend remediation actions to strengthen security posture.
• Collaborate with security, architecture, engineering, risk, and business teams.
• Prepare detailed risk assessment reports and recommendations.
• Support governance, risk acceptance, and security-by-design initiatives. ? Required Skills &

Experience:
• Robust experience in Cybersecurity Risk Assessment, Threat Assessment, Information Security, or Technology Risk Management.




• Practical knowledge of Threat Modelling, Vulnerability Assessment, and Security Controls.
• Experience with security assessments across applications, infrastructure, cloud services, or technology solutions.
• Understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, GRC, regulatory requirements, and security-by-design principles.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to translate technical security risks into business impact. ? Good to Have:
• Experience in Banking, Financial Services (BFSI), or other regulated industries.
• Knowledge of recognised cybersecurity frameworks and industry standards.
• Exposure to vulnerability management, security testing, or Cyber Threat Intelligence.
• Relevant certifications in Cybersecurity, Cloud Security, or Information Security.
• Experience working on large-scale technology transformation programmes.
