About The Company
Our client is an established manufacturing organization specializing in pharmaceutical machinery and industrial equipment. Job Overview We are looking for an experienced Purchase Engineer with a background in pharmaceutical machinery, machine manufacturing, automation, or equipment manufacturing. The candidate will be responsible for procurement, vendor management, cost optimization, and ensuring timely availability of materials.

Key Responsibilities
• Handle purchase requisitions and procurement of raw materials, components, machinery parts, and services.
• Manage purchase orders, inventory tracking, and procurement reports through ERP systems.
• Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and vendors.
• Conduct market research, vendor analysis, and cost comparisons.
• Monitor procurement costs and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
• Ensure timely procurement as per production and business requirements.
• Maintain purchase records, price lists, vendor agreements, and related documentation.
• Handle import/export documentation and ensure compliance with procurement policies.
• Monitor vendor performance, product quality, and delivery timelines.
• Prepare procurement reports and track budgets and performance metrics.
• Identify potential supply chain risks and take preventive measures.
• Continuously improve procurement processes and operational efficiency.



Required Skills & Qualifications
• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related engineering field.
• 2–10 years of experience in Purchase/Procurement.
• Experience in pharmaceutical machinery, machine manufacturing, automation, or equipment manufacturing is preferred.
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems.
• Knowledge of import/export documentation and procurement procedures.
• Good negotiation, vendor management, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
