Indian Silk House Agencies is a heritage saree and ethnic-wear retail brand (est. 1971) with 70+ stores across India. We’re looking for an Interior Decorator to help plan and style our store and showroom interiors. Freshers and interns are welcome to apply. What you’ll work on:
• Planning layouts, color schemes and décor for new stores and refurbishments
• Selecting and sourcing furniture, fixtures, lighting, fabrics and décor items
• Preparing mood boards, material boards and simple 2D/3D layouts
• Coordinating with contractors, vendors and the visual merchandising and operations teams on site
• Making sure finished spaces match the design brief and brand standards
• Supporting festive and seasonal décor changeovers What we’re looking for:
• A degree,



diploma or ongoing course in Interior Design, Interior Decoration, Architecture or a related field
• Working knowledge of SketchUp or AutoCAD; a plus if you know rendering tools
• A positive eye for color, materials, space and styling
• Willingness to visit sites and work with vendors and contractors
• Freshers are welcome, and a strong portfolio matters more than years of experience
• Based in or willing to relocate to Kolkata Duration: 3-6 months, on-site, with a stipend. Strong performers may be considered for a full-time role.
