• Develop MCU-based hardware architectures using STM32 and other ARM-based microcontrollers.
• Design and integrate BLDC motor control circuits, MOSFET drivers, current sensing, and motor protection systems.
• Integrate sensors, encoders, Hall sensors, proximity sensors, and other electronic interfaces.
• Design and implement LoRa/LoRaWAN and other wireless communication interfaces for IoT-enabled robotic systems.
• Develop power management circuits, including DC-DC converters, battery interfaces, voltage regulation, and protection circuits.
• Work with embedded firmware engineers on hardware-software integration, debugging, and system optimization.
• Perform PCB bring-up, hardware validation, functional testing, and troubleshooting using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and debugging tools.
• Improve existing PCB designs for reliability, EMI/EMC performance, power efficiency, thermal management, and manufacturing cost.
• Prepare schematics, PCB layouts, Gerber files, BOMs, and technical documentation for manufacturing.
• Coordinate with PCB fabrication and assembly vendors to support prototype development and mass production.
• Support field deployments, investigate hardware failures, and implement corrective design improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to develop scalable and reliable robotic products. Qualifications & Technical Skills
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication, or a related discipline.
• Strong experience in embedded hardware design and PCB development for commercial or industrial products.
• Proficiency in PCB design tools such as Altium Designer, KiCad, or OrCAD.
• Hands-on experience with STM32 microcontrollers, ARM Cortex-M architecture, and peripheral interfacing.
• Good understanding of embedded C/C++ and hardware-firmware integration.
• Experience designing circuits for BLDC motors, motor drivers, MOSFETs, and current/voltage sensing.
• Knowledge of wireless communication technologies, particularly LoRa/LoRaWAN, and associated RF hardware design.
• Strong understanding of communication protocols such as UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, and RS485.
• Experience with battery-powered systems, LiFePO4 batteries, BMS interfaces, and DC-DC power conversion.
• Advanced debugging skills using oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers, and embedded debugging tools.
• Knowledge of PCB design practices for EMI/EMC, ESD protection, grounding, thermal performance, and industrial reliability.
• Ability to independently troubleshoot complex hardware problems and develop production-ready solutions.
• Good documentation, analytical, and communication skills. Preferred Experience
• Experience in robotics, industrial automation, motor control, or IoT products.
• Experience developing electronics for outdoor equipment operating in harsh environmental conditions.
• Familiarity with RTOS, embedded firmware development, and IoT/cloud-connected devices.
• Experience taking PCB designs from prototype through testing, validation, and mass production.
• Knowledge of component sourcing, BOM cost optimization, and design for manufacturability (DFM). We are looking for a hands-on engineer who can independently take ownership of embedded PCB hardware design, from initial circuit architecture through prototype validation and production.
