We are looking for a Football Content Writer (Premier League) who lives and breathes English football, possesses exceptional English writing skills, and can transform the latest developments into engaging, accurate, and SEO-friendly news articles. Key Responsibilities
- Write 7 football news articles daily, with a minimum of 400 words per article.
- Produce original, engaging, and well-structured articles based on assigned topics and source material.
- Cover Premier League news, transfer rumours, player updates, club developments, and other relevant stories.
- Ensure articles are factually accurate, grammatically correct, and professionally written.
- Optimise articles for SEO, including headlines, keywords, meta descriptions, and internal linking.
- Format and schedule articles through WordPress according to Scorzo's editorial guidelines.
- Select appropriate featured images from assets provided by our design team.
- Submit all assigned articles for editorial review by 10 PM IST.




- Maintain consistency in writing quality, accuracy, and deadlines. Who We're Looking For Mandatory Requirements
- Exceptional written English, grammar, and sentence construction.
- Strong knowledge of the English Premier League, including clubs, players, managers, transfers, and current developments.
- Ability to write clear, engaging, and original football news articles.
- Demonstrated writing ability through previous work samples.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow editorial guidelines.
- Self-discipline and time-management skills suitable for remote working.
- Ability to work independently and consistently meet daily deadlines.
- Willingness to work Sundays, with one weekly day off between Monday and Friday. Good to Have
- Previous experience writing for a football website, sports blog, or digital publication.
- Familiarity with WordPress.
- Basic understanding of SEO and digital publishing.
- Previous journalism, content writing, or editorial internship experience. Educational Qualifications Graduates from all academic backgrounds are welcome to apply. A journalism or mass communication degree is not mandatory. Working Arrangement This is a fully remote,



full-time position. Daily article topics and source links will be assigned by approximately 1 PM IST. Writers are expected to complete seven articles, including formatting and scheduling, by 10 PM IST. We follow an output-oriented work culture. Writers have flexibility in managing their

Important: AI Writing Policy Scorzo follows a strict no-AI writing policy. All articles must be written independently by the journalist. AI-generated articles and the use of AI writing tools are not permitted. Candidates must demonstrate genuine writing ability and football knowledge.
