Responsibilities:
The person will be leading the BD team for MPCPL, and will be responsible for end-to-end BD activities for the consulting services at the firm for MCPCL India as well as for Metina Europe Kft and Metina Australia Pty Ltd. The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Identify, research and develop a pipeline of prospective clients across the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and life sciences industries.
• Generate new business opportunities through direct outreach, networking, industry databases, referrals and other channels.




• Coordinate discussions between prospective clients and relevant internal technical experts to assess project feasibility and scope.
• Prepare commercial proposals, quotations and business offers in line with internal pricing and approval policies
• Lead commercial discussions, negotiations and deal closure with clients
• Ensure a structured handover of confirmed projects to the technical and project execution teams.
• Oversee the project management of the Consulting projects & the Pharmaceutical product portfolio, ensuring that key timelines and milestones are met as per agreed plan with the client.
• Lead Cross Functional Team meetings to track & monitor projects and to apprise Management of the progress through Monthly MIS.
• Travel frequently to attend client meetings and conferences (national / international), as needed for expanding new business.
• Build an optimal team and ensure their regular trainings and exposures to keep them updated in the relevant domains Qualification &

Skills:
• Formal experience in Business Development in Pharmaceutical Services / Products domain for a minimum of 12-15 years.
• Strong understanding and conceptual clarity of Pharmaceutical Product regulatory & GMP processes, specially pertaining to Regulated markets (EU, UK, Australia, US)
• Strong & Flawless communication skills.
• Accuracy and attention to detail.
