About the job Company Description Kinetic Age specializes in one-on-one home-based personal training for older adults, focusing on mobility, strength, balance, and overall health. Expert trainers deliver tailored fitness programs designed to support independence, reduce the risk of injuries, and promote healthy aging. The team provides a range of services, including personal training for seniors (55+), mobility and flexibility training, and strength and balance programs. Kinetic Age also offers prehab and rehab support, along with customized nutrition plans, to address the holistic needs of each client. Role Description The Homecare Physiotherapist (0–3 years) will provide in-person physiotherapy services to clients in their homes across the Kolkata metropolitan area. In this full-time, in office role, the physiotherapist will assess functional abilities, design individualized treatment plans, and implement exercise-based interventions to improve mobility, strength, balance, and pain management for older adults. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting initial and follow-up assessments, delivering hands-on therapy and guided exercise sessions, monitoring progress, and adjusting programs as needed. The physiotherapist will collaborate with trainers and, when appropriate, other healthcare professionals to align physiotherapy goals with overall wellness and rehabilitation plans. The role also involves educating clients and caregivers on home exercise programs, fall prevention, safe movement strategies, and lifestyle modifications that support long-term independence.



Qualifications
• Candidates should possess strong clinical physiotherapy skills, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and exercise prescription for musculoskeletal, neurological, and geriatric conditions.
• Candidates should possess skills in patient-centered care, such as effective communication, empathy, active listening, and the ability to motivate clients to adhere to home-based programs.
• Candidates should possess skills in safety and risk management, including fall risk assessment, safe transfer techniques, and knowledge of precautions for common age-related health conditions.
• Candidates should possess organizational and time-management skills, including punctuality, route planning within the Kolkata metropolitan area, accurate documentation, and case follow-up.
• Candidates should possess collaboration and teamwork skills to work effectively with fitness trainers, nutrition professionals, caregivers, and other healthcare providers.
• Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy (BPT) from a recognized institution; relevant licensure/registration as required by local regulations.
• 0–3 years of experience in physiotherapy, with exposure to geriatrics, homecare, or rehabilitation settings preferred.
• Ability to travel within the Kolkata metropolitan area and work in varied home environments; comfort with using basic digital tools for scheduling and record-keeping.
• Interest in healthy aging, preventive care, and long-term functional improvement for older adults.
