Role Description The Resident Engineer Electrical Railways will oversee electrical works related to railway projects, ensuring compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. This full-time, in office role is based in Secunderābād and involves monitoring and supervising electrical installations, power distribution systems, and related infrastructure during construction and commissioning. The role includes reviewing drawings and technical documents, coordinating with design teams, contractors, and client representatives, and resolving technical issues on site. The Resident Engineer will conduct inspections,



verify test results, ensure adherence to quality and safety procedures, and prepare progress and compliance reports. The position also requires providing technical guidance to site teams, supporting risk mitigation, and ensuring timely completion of electrical works within project schedules. Qualifications
• Strong foundation in Electrical Engineering and Electricity, with the ability to apply core principles to railway infrastructure projects.
• Proficiency in Electrical Design and Power Systems, including interpretation of drawings, specifications, and system configurations.
• Hands-on experience with Power Distribution systems in large infrastructure or transportation projects.
• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
• Experience in railway or transportation sector projects, preferably in a resident engineer or site supervision role.
• Knowledge of relevant national standards, safety codes, and regulatory requirements for electrical railway systems.
• Ability to manage contractors and site teams, with strong problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills.
• Proficiency in using engineering and documentation tools (e.g., AutoCAD or similar, MS Office, reporting software).
• Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality assurance, and continuous improvement in project delivery.
