About the Role
Cadiefy Solar Design Services is looking for an experienced and highly motivated Senior Project Manager to lead and manage solar permit design projects for the USA and Canadian markets. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in solar permitting, project coordination, team management, quality control, and client communication, with a solid understanding of North American solar codes, standards, and utility requirements.

Key Responsibilities
• Project Management
• Manage end-to-end solar permit design projects for residential and commercial solar installations.
• Plan, allocate, track, and monitor project deliverables to ensure timely completion.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and productivity.
• Coordinate with design engineers, QC teams, and clients.
• Solar Permit Design Knowledge
• Strong understanding of USA and Canada solar permitting processes.
• Review and manage permit plan sets, including:
• Site Plans
• PV Module Layouts
• Electrical Single-Line Diagrams (SLD)
• Three-Line Diagrams
• Structural Plans
• Equipment Specifications
• Placards and Labels
• Knowledge of NEC, CEC, local AHJ requirements, and applicable building codes.
• Understanding of utility interconnection requirements and documentation.
• Team Leadership
• Lead, mentor, and manage solar permit design teams.
• Assign tasks based on project priorities and team capabilities.
• Monitor individual and team performance.
• Conduct regular project reviews and provide technical guidance.




• Quality Control & Compliance
• Ensure all permit drawings meet applicable codes and client requirements.
• Review drawings before final submission.
• Minimize design errors, revisions, and permit rejection rates.
• Maintain drawing standards, documentation, and version control.
• Client & Stakeholder Coordination
• Communicate directly with USA and Canadian clients.
• Handle project updates, technical queries, and escalations.
• Coordinate with clients to understand project requirements and deadlines.
• Maintain strong client relationships and ensure customer satisfaction. Required Qualifications & Skills
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in Solar Permit Design and Project Management.
• Mandatory hands-on experience with USA and/or Canada-based solar projects.
• Strong knowledge of residential and commercial solar PV systems.
• Excellent understanding of NEC, CEC, AHJ, and utility requirements.
• Experience managing teams and multiple projects.
• Robust communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage deadlines and deliver high-quality projects. Preferred Software Knowledge
