About the Role
Build the team, technical capability and engineering culture to deliver internationally competitive products—starting in India. We need an established engineering leader who has brought multiple power-electronics products into production and earned industry credibility. Partner with the founders to set technical strategy, scale our R&D; organisation and turn the product roadmap into market launches—with strong technical authority, not research or prototypes alone. The portfolio spans low-power, low-voltage chargers and single-phase inverters, with upcoming high-power, high-voltage modules and solid-state transformer (SST) platforms. What You Will Do
• Own the engineering roadmap, platform architecture, program priorities and delivery commitments through validation, certification, production release and field performance.
• Build and lead the hardware, firmware and validation organisation; develop engineering leaders, plan team capacity and establish clear accountability.
• Establish a culture of engineering depth, constructive technical challenge, disciplined experimentation and evidence-based decisions.
• Set demanding standards for safety, reliability, efficiency and manufacturability; make design reviews, documentation and learning from failures routine.
• Lead critical technical decisions and escalations; align engineering with manufacturing, quality,



supply chain and customer needs. What We Are Looking For — Must Haves
• Multiple production launches: direct responsibility for power-electronics products used by real customers.
• Technical leadership: ownership of architecture and engineering trade-offs, backed by deep power-conversion expertise.
• Organisational leadership: evidence of leading multidisciplinary R&D; teams, developing technical leaders and delivering multiple product programs.
• Industry credibility: a technical reputation recognised by peers, customers or partners, supported by verifiable contributions and references.
• Engineering discipline: demonstrated ownership of validation, reliability, production readiness and field problem-solving. We welcome experienced leaders who have guided multidisciplinary teams and taken products from development into production. Depth in relevant power-conversion platforms and the ability to build recent capabilities matter more than experience across every platform listed. Experience building an R&D; team from the ground up is an added advantage.
