Alongside our surface protection solutions, we are expanding our home care cleaning product range and building in-house R&D; and formulation capabilities. We focus on developing effective, reliable and high-quality products through innovation, testing and continuous improvement. Role Description – Formulation ChemistWe are looking for a Formulation Chemist to join our R&D; and Operations team in Pune. The candidate will be responsible for developing, testing and improving home care cleaning product formulations, taking products from initial laboratory trials to reliable, production-ready formulations. The role will involve working on stain removers, degreasers, limescale removers, surfactant-based cleaners and other household cleaning products.

Key Responsibilities
• Develop and improve formulations for home care and household cleaning products.
• Work with surfactants, acids, alkalis, solvents, chelating agents and other chemical ingredients.
• Conduct laboratory trials and test product performance on different surfaces.
• Perform pH, viscosity, stability and shelf-life testing.
• Ensure product quality,



consistency and material compatibility.
• Maintain formulation records, testing reports and quality documentation.
• Support pilot batches and scale-up from laboratory to factory production.
• Identify suitable raw materials and work with suppliers on material evaluation.
• Follow laboratory safety practices and chemical handling procedures Qualifications We Need
• BSc / MSc in Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science or a related field.
• 2–3 years of hands-on experience in formulation development, preferably in home care, household cleaning products, personal care or chemical manufacturing.
• Practical experience in developing and testing cleaning product formulations.
• Working knowledge of surfactants, acids, alkalis, solvents and other chemical ingredients.
• Understanding of laboratory testing, pH, viscosity, stability studies and quality control.
• Experience in product development, formulation improvement and troubleshooting.
• Exposure to pilot batches and production-scale formulation is preferred.
• Good documentation skills and knowledge of chemical safety practices. Preferred

Experience:
Candidates who have worked on floor cleaners, glass cleaners, degreasers, stain removers, bathroom cleaners or other household cleaning products will be given preference.
