About the Role
The Manager – Career Development Cell will be responsible for strengthening industry partnerships, expanding the employer network, facilitating campus placements and internships, and supporting students' career development. The role requires proactive employer engagement, strong relationship management, and effective execution of placement activities.

Key Responsibilities
• Corporate Relations & Employer Acquisition
• Identify, approach, and onboard new employers across relevant industry sectors.
• Build, maintain, and expand the University's employer database through continuous market mapping and lead generation.
• Develop and nurture relationships with recruiters, HR leaders, hiring managers, industry associations, and alumni.
• Conduct corporate outreach through meetings, calls, emails, LinkedIn, networking events, and industry visits.
• Generate placement, internship, live project, and industry engagement opportunities.
• Ensure repeat recruiter engagement through effective relationship management.
• Employer Database & Market Intelligence
• Continuously identify and add new employers to the University's recruiter database.
• Conduct industry mapping and maintain sector-wise recruiter information.
• Monitor hiring trends, emerging job roles, and employer expectations.
• Maintain accurate employer records and interaction history.
• Placement & Internship Operations
• Manage end-to-end placement and internship activities.
• Coordinate recruitment drives, interviews, assessments, pre-placement talks, and selection processes.
• Work closely with recruiters, students, faculty, and placement coordinators to ensure seamless execution.
• Monitor offer releases, joining status, and internship progress.




• Student Career Development
• Guide students on placements, internships, and career opportunities.
• Support career readiness initiatives including resume reviews, mock interviews, and employability sessions.
• Conduct awareness sessions on placement processes and employer expectations.
• Stakeholder Coordination
• Coordinate with Schools, Faculty Coordinators, Student Placement Representatives, Alumni, and recruiters.
• Ensure timely communication between internal and external stakeholders.
• Support corporate visits, career fairs, networking events, and industry interactions.
• MIS & Reporting
• Maintain accurate placement MIS and employer databases.
• Prepare periodic reports on placement activities, recruiter engagement, and hiring outcomes.
• Ensure complete documentation and data accuracy.
• Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• Current employers onboarded.
• Growth of employer database.
• Corporate meetings and outreach conducted.
• Placement and internship opportunities generated.
• Recruiter engagement and repeat hiring.
• Placement drive execution.
• Student placement outcomes.
• Accuracy and timeliness of MIS reporting. Educational Qualification MBA (HR/Marketing/Operations) or equivalent Master's degree from a recognized institution. Experience
• 5–8 years of relevant experience in Career Services, Campus Placements, Corporate Relations, Talent Acquisition, HR, Business Development, or Industry Relations.
• Experience in Higher Education will be preferred. Required Skills
