Role Description The Production Engineer will oversee day-to-day production activities in office at the Palladam facility, ensuring efficient, safe, and consistent manufacturing of sandwich panel roofing and cladding products. This full-time role includes planning and scheduling production, monitoring workflow, coordinating with maintenance and quality teams, and optimizing machine utilization to meet output and cost targets. The Production Engineer will implement and maintain quality control procedures, troubleshoot process issues, and support continuous improvement initiatives across the production line. The role also involves maintaining production documentation, analyzing performance data,



and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet customer specifications and delivery timelines. The position is fully on-site and requires active presence on the shop floor to guide operators, support training, and uphold safety standards. Qualifications
• Strong foundation in Production Engineering, with experience in manufacturing or industrial production environments.
• Analytical skills to interpret production data, identify bottlenecks, and drive process improvements.
• Experience in Production Planning, including scheduling, resource allocation, and coordination with supply chain or inventory teams.
• Knowledge of Quality Control practices, standards, and tools to ensure product consistency and compliance.
• Effective Communication skills for working with production operators, supervisors, and cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Production, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Familiarity with manufacturing safety standards and the ability to promote a safe working environment.
• Hands-on experience with automated or semi-automated machinery; exposure to panel or building materials manufacturing is an advantage.
• Ability to work on-site in Palladam and manage shift-based responsibilities as required.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications and production reporting; experience with ERP or manufacturing software is beneficial.
