Role Description The Senior Content Creator will develop, write, and produce high-quality digital content that aligns with TurkStart’s editorial voice and thematic focus areas. This contract, remote role involves researching and pitching story ideas, conducting interviews, and creating articles, features, and multimedia narratives that highlight business, culture, travel, and contemporary life in Türkiye. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing content workflows from concept to publication, collaborating with editors and designers, and ensuring all pieces meet deadlines and quality standards. The Senior Content Creator will optimize content for digital platforms,



maintain consistency in tone and brand messaging, and contribute to audience growth and engagement. This role may also support social media storytelling, basic content performance reviews, and cross-functional projects that expand TurkStart’s reach. Qualifications
• Strong skills in editorial writing, feature writing, and storytelling for digital media.
• Experience in content planning, editorial strategy, and ideation for multi-topic platforms (e.g., business, culture, travel, real estate).
• Proficiency in research and interviewing, including sourcing credible information and speaking with entrepreneurs, professionals, and subject-matter experts.
• Ability to edit and refine content, ensuring clarity, accuracy, coherence, and adherence to style guidelines.
• Familiarity with digital publishing tools, content management systems, and basic SEO principles for online content.
• Comfort with visual storytelling and collaboration with design or multimedia teams to support photography, video, and social content.
• Robust understanding or demonstrated interest in Türkiye’s business landscape, culture, travel, and contemporary issues.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Turkish language skills are a plus.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple deadlines, and maintain high editorial standards.
• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Media, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
