Build the infrastructure that controls and secures it.The Role & Why It ExistsWe’re looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer who can build robust APIs and intuitive frontend experiences that help our customers understand their data and make better decisions.This is a genuinely full-stack role. You’ll be comfortable moving between backend and frontend development. Beyond writing code, we’re looking for someone with the engineering judgement expected of a senior developer. Someone who can understand existing architecture, review code effectively, make thoughtful technical decisions, and take ownership of code quality.What You Will Be DoingAt Gravitee, impact isn't abstract, it's visible. In this role, you will:Develop new features end-to-end — from design to implementation, building the APIs and the frontend interfaces and visualizations they powerBuild UI experiences for Gravitee's AI-related products, including AI Gateway management, agent monitoring, and MCP configuration interfacesContribute to both our open-source platform and Enterprise EditionUse LLMs and AI coding assistants (such as Claude, Cursor, GitHub Copilot or similar) as a core part of your engineering workflow — for rapid prototyping, code generation, testing, and debugging across the full stackWrite automated tests to ensure code quality, leveraging AI-assisted testing tools where appropriateApply engineering judgement to validate and refine AI-generated outputs, understanding that AI augments but does not replace solid engineering fundamentalsCollaborate with other engineers and technical leaders to discover the best solutions,



and support colleagues through code and design reviewStay curious about how AI capabilities intersect with API management, and contribute ideas for AI-powered featuresYour impact will be visible, measurable, and global.Essential SkillsThe right candidate will possess at least the following skills:8+ years of professional software engineering experience, with significant experience building full-stack enterprise web applicationsStrong hands-on experience with Java 17+ and React languagesGenuine full-stack experience, with the ability and willingness to work across both backend and frontend developmentStrong experience designing, developing, and working with REST/RESTful APIsExperience with MongoDB, JDBC, or other relational/database technologiesSolid understanding of backend architecture, API design, and modern software engineering principlesExperience with database technologies and data modelling, with the ability to understand and work confidently with database-backed applicationsStrong code-review skills and a track record of taking ownership of code qualityAbility to understand existing architecture and assess the wider impact of code changes rather than working on features in isolationExperience with automated testing, Git/GitHub workflows, and agile software developmentHands-on experience using LLMs and AI coding assistants such as Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or similar as part of your engineering workflowStrong judgement when working with AI-generated code. You should be able to understand, validate, correct, and improve generated outputs rather than relying on AI to replace your underlying technical knowledgeStrong written and verbal communication skills in EnglishA curious, adaptable mindset and the ability to learn unfamiliar areas of a complex technical platformDesired SkillsAdditionally,
