Role Description The Assistant Manager – Product Category is a full-time, in office role based in Manjeri or Ernakulam Offices. This role is responsible for managing assigned product categories, including planning assortments, monitoring performance, and coordinating launches in line with brand and business goals. Day-to-day activities include conducting market and competitor analysis, tracking sales data, identifying growth opportunities, and supporting pricing, promotions, and merchandising strategies. The Assistant Manager collaborates with product management, sales, marketing, and supply chain teams to ensure product availability, alignment with consumer needs, and effective go-to-market execution.



The role also involves preparing category performance reports, recommending improvements, and supporting long-term category development initiatives. Job Purpose:To drive category growth and profitability by executing business strategies, managing inventory, and leading product planning initiatives for the Non-Electronics Division (Mixers or Fans or Air Fryers )

Key Responsibilities
• Plan and execute category strategies in coordination with Category Head to achieve topline targets
• Track competitor activities and recommend timely interventions based on market dynamics
• Manage inventory and coordinate with factory for production planning and timely supply
• Lead New Product Development (NPD) initiatives including market research, benchmarking, and product launches
• Perform demand forecasting using S&OP; plans, historical sales, and market trends to ensure optimal stock levels
• Design and implement sales schemes; track performance and recommend improvements
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and NPD teams to ensure effective product placement and promotion
