Company Description Verdantika is an early stage sustainability advisory firm operating at the intersection of industry, innovation and impact. The company specializes in climate innovation and partners with businesses across diverse sectors, including oil & gas, manufacturing, and logistics, to craft and implement data-driven strategies for decarbonization and resource circularity. Verdantika offers integrated expertise in areas such as supply chain optimization, regulatory and taxation advisory, carbon footprint analysis, and life cycle assessment (LCA) modeling. Our focus is on driving sustainable business growth and ensuring compliance with evolving environmental regulations. Role Description This is a contractual role with a duration of up to six months (negotiable). The Research Intern will conduct advanced research and applied analysis at the intersection of sustainability policy, trade, and industrial decarbonization, with a specific emphasis on process engineering aspects of green shipping and low-carbon fuels. The Research Intern will also be responsible for gathering and interpreting data, developing insights for decarbonization or resource optimization frameworks, and preparing reports and presentations. The role involves collaborating with the Founder on case studies and assisting in creating innovative solutions to address sustainability challenges for industry. Qualifications




• This role is well-suited for candidates with an interest in process engineering, energy systems, maritime decarbonization and applied sustainability research, and offers exposure to real-world decision-making at the interface of technology, policy, and markets.
• Maximum 3 years of experience with a relevant B.
Tech / M.
Tech degree in core engineering streams such as chemical, mechanical, electrical or environmental engineering and super interested in sustainability, economics, or related fields.
• Proficiency in research methodologies, data collection, and analysis.
• Familiarity with sustainability concepts as well as sustainability standards and frameworks, trade regulations and environmental policies.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for reporting and presentation preparation.
• Self driven and has ability to think critically, solve complex problems, and work collaboratively within a team.
• Proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is required.
• Willingness to work in Gurgaon / Delhi NCR and commitment to full-time engagement. Stipend
