Role Description The Senior Distribution Manager is a full-time, in office role based in Ahmedabad, responsible for overseeing end-to-end distribution operations for Arinna Lifesciences. This position manages warehousing, inventory control, and order fulfillment to ensure timely and accurate delivery of pharmaceutical products across assigned regions. The role includes planning and optimizing distribution networks, coordinating with logistics partners, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and quality standards. The Senior Distribution Manager collaborates closely with sales, supply chain, and finance teams to align distribution plans with business goals and to improve service levels and cost efficiency. Daily tasks also include monitoring performance metrics, resolving operational issues, mentoring distribution staff, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives. Qualifications




• Candidates should possess strong distribution and logistics management skills, including experience with warehousing, transportation coordination, and inventory optimization.
• Candidates should possess skills in planning, analytics, and reporting, such as demand forecasting, data-driven decision-making, and performance metric tracking.
• Candidates should possess knowledge of pharmaceutical or healthcare supply chain practices, including GxP, cold-chain or special handling requirements, and regulatory compliance.
• Candidates should possess leadership and people management skills, including team supervision, training, performance management, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Candidates should possess communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to work effectively with internal teams, external partners, and vendors.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field; a master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CSCP, CPIM, or logistics-related certification) is an advantage.
• Relevant experience in distribution management within pharmaceuticals or FMCG, preferably in a senior or supervisory role, and familiarity with ERP or distribution management systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work on-site in Ahmedabad with a focus on operational excellence and continuous improvement.
