Full-Time Experience Level: Mid-Senior (5+ years) Position Overview We are looking for a Tax Technology Engineer to bridge the gap between our IT infrastructure and finance operations. In this role, you will be responsible for connecting, configuring, and maintaining the link between our core enterprise systems (SAP or Oracle ERP) and automated tax engines. Your work will ensure seamless global tax compliance, accurate automated calculations, and smooth transaction processing across our sales and purchasing workflows. What You Will Do
• Manage Integrations: Own and optimize the data connections between SAP (S/4HANA/ECC) or Oracle (Cloud/EBS) and third-party tax engines.
• Support Business Workflows: Configure tax determination rules for automated buying (Procure-to-Pay) and selling (Order-to-Cash) processes.
• Troubleshoot & Test: Lead system testing (SIT/UAT) for system upgrades, tax rate changes, and patch deployments to prevent transaction errors.
• Collaborate: Partner closely with internal corporate tax teams, IT developers,



and external software vendors to resolve technical tax issues. What We Are Looking For
• ERP Expertise: Deep functional or technical understanding of SAP (FI, SD, MM modules) OR Oracle ERP Financials.
• Tax Software

Experience:
Hands-on experience working with automated tax engines such as Vertex, Thomson Reuters ONESOURCE, Avalara, or Sovos.
• Problem Solver: Solid data analysis skills to debug transaction errors, XML/API payloads, or system mapping failures.
• Background: 5+ years of experience blending ERP system configuration with indirect tax (Sales & Use tax, VAT, or GST) logic.

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Accounting, Finance, or a related technical field. Preferred/Bonus Qualifications
• Official certifications in Vertex, ONESOURCE, or SAP/Oracle finance modules.
• Experience handling global e-invoicing or digital tax reporting mandates.
