Role Overview: We are looking for a WordPress Design & Developer who has a understanding of WordPress and hosting environments. This role is ideal for someone who may be early in their career but is confident working independently with WordPress websites, from setup to deployment, and eager to grow with a startup. You will be responsible for designing, developing, managing, and maintaining WordPress websites while collaborating closely with our team.

Key Responsibilities
1) WordPress Development:
• Set up and configure WordPress websites from scratch
• Install, customize, and manage WordPress themes and plugins
• Build and design pages using page builders (Elementor, Gutenberg, etc.)
• Customize layouts, styles, and basic functionality using HTML, CSS, and minimal PHP
• Ensure websites are responsive and optimized for different devices 2) Design & User Experience
• Design clean, modern, and user-friendly website layouts
• Maintain visual consistency with branding guidelines
• Optimize website navigation and structure for usability 3) Hosting & Technical Management
• Manage WordPress hosting platforms (shared, VPS, or managed hosting)
• Configure domains, DNS, SSL certificates, and email settings
• Handle website backups, security, and performance optimization
• Migrate WordPress websites between hosting environments when required 4) Maintenance & Optimization
• Perform regular WordPress core, theme, and plugin updates




• Troubleshoot and resolve basic technical issues and bugs
• Optimize website speed and performance
• Ensure basic on-page SEO best practices are followed 5) Collaboration & Growth
• Work closely with founders and team members to implement ideas
• Communicate progress, challenges, and solutions clearly
• Take ownership of assigned projects and timelines
• Continuously learn and improve technical and design skills Required Skills &

Qualifications:
• Understanding of WordPress (themes, plugins, dashboard, content management)
• Experience setting up and managing WordPress hosting environments
• Knowledge of domain management, DNS, and SSL configuration
• Working knowledge of HTML and CSS
• Familiarity with WordPress page builders (Elementor, Gutenberg, etc.)
• Basic understanding of responsive design principles
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently Preferred (Nice to Have)

Skills:
• Basic knowledge of PHP and JavaScript
• Experience with performance and security plugins
• Understanding of SEO fundamentals
• Familiarity with Git or basic version control
• Experience working in a startup or fast-paced environment Experience Level:
