About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior QA Engineer with strong expertise in manual and automation testing, preferably within e-commerce, online marketplaces or payment gateway environments. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability and performance of web applications, mobile applications and backend systems, with a focus on complex marketplace workflows and payment processing.

Key Responsibilities
● Design, develop and execute test plans, test cases and test scenarios for web and mobile applications. ● Perform functional, regression, integration, system and end-to-end testing. ● Develop and maintain automated test scripts for web and mobile applications. ● Test marketplace workflows, including registration, listings, search, checkout, orders, refunds and cancellations. ● Validate payment integrations, transaction processing, payment failures, refunds and reconciliation. ● Perform API testing to validate backend services, integrations and data consistency. ● Identify, document, track and verify software defects. ● Conduct cross-browser and cross-device testing. ● Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines. ● Participate in requirement analysis, release planning and release readiness assessments. ● Maintain test coverage and QA documentation throughout the development lifecycle.



● Collaborate with engineering and other stakeholders to improve product quality. Required Skills & Qualifications ● 4–8 years of experience in software quality assurance and testing. ● Experience in e-commerce, online marketplaces or payment gateway domains. ● Robust hands-on experience in manual and automation testing. ● Experience testing web and mobile applications (Android/iOS). ● Familiarity with automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress or Appium. ● Experience with API testing using Postman or REST Assured. ● Understanding of REST APIs, HTTP protocols, JSON and client-server architecture. ● Experience with test management and defect-tracking tools such as Jira. ● Familiarity with SQL queries and database validation. ● Experience with Git, CI/CD tools and continuous testing practices. ● Strong analytical, debugging and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications ● Experience testing payment gateway integrations and transaction-heavy applications. ● Knowledge of UPI, card payments, net banking, wallets, refunds and transaction reconciliation. ● Experience with mobile automation frameworks such as Appium. ● Familiarity with performance testing tools such as JMeter or k6. ● Understanding of PCI DSS principles and secure transaction handling. ● Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. Key Competencies ● Strong understanding of marketplace and e-commerce workflows. ● Ability to identify edge cases in complex payment and order-processing scenarios. ● Ownership of test coverage, automation quality and release readiness. ● Ability to work independently and collaborate across engineering teams.
