Role Description The Contracts Engineer (MEP) role is a full-time, on-site position based in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. This role is responsible for managing and administering contracts related to Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing & Fire Fighting (MEP) works across residential and commercial projects. Day-to-day activities include preparing and reviewing contract documents, scope of work, technical specifications, and bills of quantities for MEP services; coordinating with design, procurement, project management,



and site teams to ensure contractual compliance and alignment with project objectives. The Contracts Engineer will analyze vendor and subcontractor proposals, support negotiations, monitor contract performance, and manage variations, claims, and cost control for MEP packages. The role also involves tracking progress against contractual milestones, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards, and maintaining accurate documentation and reports for management review. Qualifications
• Candidates should possess knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) systems and overall Building Services design and implementation.
• Candidates should possess experience in contract management for construction or real estate projects, including drafting, reviewing, and administering MEP-related contracts.
• Candidates should possess analytical, cost estimation, and negotiation skills for evaluating bids, managing variations, and controlling project budgets.
• Candidates should possess effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate with consultants, contractors, and internal project teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Electrical (Experienced candidate preferred, Freshers are welcome)
