Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Senior ServiceNow Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in ServiceNow platform development, scripting, automation testing, integrations, and quality engineering. The ideal candidate should have a combination of ServiceNow development and automated testing experience, particularly with the ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF). The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, configuring, testing, and maintaining ServiceNow applications and workflows across ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, Discovery, Event Management, Service Catalog, and enterprise integrations.

Key Responsibilities
• Configure, customize, and develop ServiceNow applications, workflows, and integrations using JavaScript, Glide APIs, Flow Designer, Client Scripts, Business Rules, UI Policies, and Catalog Scripts.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance ServiceNow solutions across ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, Discovery, Event Management, Service Catalog, and Service Portal.
• Manage update sets, application migration, deployment activities, and the ServiceNow development lifecycle.
• Develop and support REST, SOAP, and Integration Hub integrations with external enterprise systems.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks using ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF).
• Plan, execute, and document functional, regression,



integration, end-to-end, and automated testing across ServiceNow modules and workflows.
• Perform API testing and validate integrations, data integrity, business rules, and workflow outcomes.
• Conduct ServiceNow platform upgrade and patch testing, including defect identification, tracking, and resolution.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipeline automation and continuous improvement of development and testing processes.
• Collaborate with architects, developers, business analysts, and product owners to understand requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and coordinate with offshore and onshore teams. Required Skills & Qualifications
• 8+ years of overall experience in software development and quality assurance, with at least 6+ years of hands-on ServiceNow experience.
• Strong hands-on experience in ServiceNow platform development, configuration, customization, and scripting.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide APIs, Client Scripts, Business Rules, UI Policies, Script Includes, Flow Designer, and Catalog Scripts.
• Strong experience with ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF), including test case creation, automation, execution, and maintenance.
• Experience with automation and testing tools such as Selenium, Postman, REST Assured,



and SOAP UI.
• Hands-on experience with REST/SOAP API testing and enterprise integrations.
• Strong knowledge of ServiceNow modules including ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, CSDM, Discovery, Event Management, and Service Catalog.
• Experience with update sets, application migration, deployment, SDLC, and release management.
• Experience in ServiceNow platform upgrades, patch testing, regression testing, and defect management.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Familiarity with JIRA and HP ALM or similar test/defect management tools.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD).
• Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS).
• ITIL v3/v4 certification.
• Experience working in enterprise ServiceNow environments. Candidate Profile We are specifically looking for candidates with a combination of:
• Strong ServiceNow development and scripting experience.
• Hands-on ATF automation experience.
• API and integration testing exposure.
• Experience across core ServiceNow modules.
• Ability to independently handle development, automation, testing, and release activities.
