Location:
Gurugram, Haryana ? Position Type: Contract (12 Months – Extendable) ? Work Mode: 5 Days Onsite for the First Month, followed by 3 Days Onsite

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Palo Alto Firewall Engineer to design, implement, manage, and troubleshoot enterprise-grade network security solutions across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in Palo Alto Networks Firewalls, Panorama, Strata Cloud Manager (SCM), and Palo Alto cloud firewall solutions across AWS and Azure. Knowledge of network segmentation, DORA legislation, security architecture, and infrastructure scalability is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities
• Design, implement, manage, and support Palo Alto Next-Generation Firewall solutions.
• Manage firewall infrastructure, Panorama, VPN, IPS, and WildFire.
• Support Palo Alto cloud firewall deployments across AWS and Azure.
• Troubleshoot and resolve high-severity network security incidents.
• Support network segmentation, security governance, capacity planning, and scalability assessments.
• Monitor infrastructure performance and ensure operational SLAs and KPIs.
• Collaborate with regional engineering teams, stakeholders, and external vendors.




• Participate in incident, problem, and change management processes.
• Contribute to security architecture, technology roadmaps, and engineering standards.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to team members. Required Technical Skills
• 8+ years of hands-on experience with Palo Alto Networks Firewalls.
• Strong experience with Panorama and Strata Cloud Manager (SCM).
• Experience with Palo Alto cloud firewalls in AWS and Azure.
• Knowledge of VPN, IPS, and WildFire.
• Strong understanding of network security architecture and network segmentation.
• Experience with Zscaler Cloud Proxies.
• Working knowledge of F5 technologies: GTM, LTM, ASM, and AFM.
• Understanding of DORA legislation and network security governance.
• Experience with ITIL Incident, Problem, and Change Management.
• Knowledge of capacity planning and scalability assessment. Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related discipline.
• Strong customer and stakeholder management experience.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage critical incidents in a rapid-paced environment.
