3+ Years Qualification: Diploma in Electrical Engineering Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary We are looking for experienced Electrical Junior Engineers / Engineers to manage electrical maintenance and operational activities in a ductile iron pipe manufacturing plant. Candidates should have hands-on experience in industrial electrical systems, equipment maintenance, troubleshooting and breakdown handling. Relevant DI pipe manufacturing plant experience is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle day-to-day electrical maintenance and operational activities.
- Attend electrical breakdowns and ensure minimum production downtime.
- Carry out preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance.
- Maintain and troubleshoot HT/LT panels, MCC, PCC, transformers and switchgear.
- Handle industrial motors, motor starters, VFDs and soft starters.
- Monitor electrical systems, power distribution and equipment performance.
- Read and understand electrical drawings and single-line diagrams.
- Coordinate with Production, Mechanical, Instrumentation and Utility teams.
- Maintain electrical maintenance records, breakdown reports and shift handover reports.
- Ensure proper earthing, electrical safety,
LOTO and permit-to-work procedures.
- Support energy conservation and improve equipment reliability. Technical Knowledge Required
- HT/LT electrical distribution systems
- Transformers, circuit breakers and protection relays
- MCC, PCC and electrical control panels
- AC/DC motors and motor control circuits
- VFDs, soft starters and motor starters
- Industrial cabling, termination and earthing
- Electrical drawings and single-line diagrams
- Preventive and breakdown maintenance
