Role & responsibilities Purpose of the role 1. Carryout Mechanical design activity as per design methodology within allocated time to meet customer requirement. 2. Create design documents for all executed projects to meet AS9100 Compliance Responsibilities Carryout the Detailed Designing of the concept design to complete it in the planned time Prepare 2D drawings for the final design to manufacture the parts Prepare Bill of Material for the final design to realize the product Raise Purchase request for BOI items to get the item on time Prepare Detailed Design Report for NPD Projects to get customer approval Capture data as per ACDE and AS9100 format documents for process compliance Coordinate with Planning Department to release batch file for machining parts to complete in-house fabrication on-time Carryout assembly activity of NPD products with the help of assembly team with assembly procedure document Test prototype NPD projects for form, fit and functional requirement to meet product specification Prepare production document for prototype proved NPD Projects to store in design library for production use
