Job Description

- Sourcing & Category Management: Manage sourcing, purchase orders, and supplier delivery for motor and Motor Control Unit (MCU) components. Identify potential suppliers, issue RFQs, collect quotations, prepare commercial comparison statements, and recommend robust sourcing options.
- Commercial & Price Negotiations: Negotiate piece prices, tooling/NRE charges, MOQs, lead times, payment terms, warranties, logistics, and annual cost-down commitments.



Track key commodity cost drivers to support should-cost analysis and price reviews.
- Supply Chain Operations: Monitor open POs, supplier acknowledgements, and dispatches to proactively manage shortages. Support inventory optimisation, safety-stock decisions, obsolete/excess inventory reduction, and alternate-source development for localization and business continuity.
- Cross-Functional Alignment: Coordinate with Engineering on specifications and approved engineering changes. Work with Quality/Supplier Quality on supplier qualifications, incoming quality requirements, and PPAP/FAI documentation closure.
