Job Profile: US Tax Intern (Remote) for a US Accounting & CPA Firm Duration: 6 months

: Paid Internship with high likelihood of conversion to full time Tax Associate role based on performance Job Summary: USA Tax Gurus LLC, a remote US Tax and Accounting firm is looking for a motivated Tax Intern who wants hands-on experience preparing real US individual, expat and business tax returns under guidance of Senior Associates and Tax Managers. This is not a data-entry role, you will be making actual entries into our tax software, researching live client issues and contributing to returns that get e-filed with the IRS. You’ll be doing real work from Day 1:
- Entering client data into Tax softwares and preparing draft 1040s, 1040-NR, 5471, 5472, etc.
- Supporting seniors by pulling transcripts, completing worksheets, and organizing work-papers
- Conducting quick tax research (IRC sections, regs, notices) and summarizing findings
- Helping with client onboarding checklists and internal coordination
- Reviewing and catching errors on junior work-papers
- Participating in team training calls and process documentation We’re looking for:




- Currently pursuing or recently completed Graduation with tax focus
- At least one full US tax season experience (2024 or 2025 season strongly preferred)
- Basic working knowledge of US individual and business tax forms
- Familiarity with any tax software is a big plus
- Excellent English communication and eagerness to learn fast
