Amcare Hospital, VIP Road, Zirakpur Employment Type: Full-Time Job Summary Amcare Hospital is looking for an experienced and responsible Ambulance Driver to safely transport patients during emergency and non-emergency situations. Eligibility
- Valid Heavy Motor Vehicle (HMV) / Heavy Driving Licence is mandatory.
- Minimum 1–3 years of driving experience.
- Previous ambulance/hospital driving experience preferred.
- Good knowledge of local routes and traffic rules.
- Physically fit and capable of assisting in patient shifting.
- Responsible, punctual, disciplined, and able to work under pressure.
- Willing to work in rotational/night shifts.

Key Responsibilities
- Safely transport patients to and from the hospital, emergency locations, and other healthcare facilities.
- Drive the ambulance carefully while following traffic rules and hospital protocols.
- Assist medical/nursing staff in shifting patients when required.
- Check ambulance condition, fuel,



tyres, brakes, lights, siren, and other essential equipment.
- Keep the ambulance clean, hygienic, and ready for emergency use.
- Maintain ambulance trip, fuel, and maintenance records.
- Report any vehicle breakdown, accident, or mechanical issue immediately.
- Coordinate with the Emergency Department and hospital staff.
- Maintain qualified behaviour with patients and attendants.
- Respond promptly to emergency transportation requirements. Required Skills
