- CM Designation- Sr.
Engineer Qualification BE (Mech) Preferred industry- Automotive Manufacturing Industry Experience 5 -8 years Location Chennai Job Purpose: Responsible and accountable for ensuring on time sourcing, commodity buyer, commodity leads, commercial finalization and Part development as per timelines in close co-ordination with cross functional team Key Accountabilities /

Responsibilities:
1. Supplier Identification for various commodities Castings, Forgings, Plastics 2. RFQ Management 3. Do costing of parts in order to arrive @ accurate level of estimation. 4. Purchase Order Processing 5. New Parts Development for Quicker realization. 6. Contain the project / program material cost at optimum level. 7. Achieve material cost reduction year on year through negotiation, alternate sourcing, VA/VE & localization 8. Track and manage copper & aluminum Price Variation Clause Revisions 9. Keep track of Other commodities (Steel, Plastics & Rubber) for Price Movements 10.
To handle global suppliers across all regions 11.
Handle audits (external & internal) including QMS & EMS 12.
Other duties assigned by management.
