Role Description The Transportation Logistics Manager will oversee day-to-day transportation operations, including planning routes, managing fleets, and coordinating shipments to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery. This full-time, on-site role, based in the Pune/Pimpri-Chinchwad area, involves monitoring carrier performance, resolving operational issues, and maintaining compliance with safety and regulatory standards. The role includes collaborating with internal teams and external partners, optimizing logistics processes, and maintaining accurate documentation and reports.



The manager will also handle customer inquiries related to transportation, support continuous improvement initiatives, and contribute to strategic decision-making for transportation and distribution activities. Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Planning and Organization Skills to manage routes, schedules, and daily operations effectively.
- Candidates should possess solid Communication and Customer Service skills to coordinate with stakeholders and provide responsive support.
- Candidates should possess hands-on experience in Transportation Management, including fleet coordination, route optimization, and regulatory compliance.
- Candidates should possess proficiency with logistics software, MS Excel, and data analysis to track performance and generate reports.
- Relevant experience in transportation or logistics management, preferably within a multi-location or industrial environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to work on-site in the Pune/Pimpri-Chinchwad area and adapt to dynamic operational demands.
- Knowledge of Indian transportation regulations, safety standards, and vendor management practices will be beneficial.
