Procurement & Vendor Management
- Handle procurement of raw materials, consumables, packaging, and indirect materials.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
- Conduct price negotiations and cost reduction initiatives.
- Evaluate supplier performance based on Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD) parameters.
- Support vendor development and localization projects. Material Planning & Inventory Management
- Ensure timely material availability as per production schedules.
- Monitor inventory levels and maintain optimum stock.
- Execute MRP planning and material requirement analysis.
- Minimize excess, slow-moving, and non-moving inventory.
- Ensure inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and audits. Production Planning Coordination
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, Stores, and Finance departments.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly material planning reports.
- Track material shortages and expedite critical materials. Logistics & Warehousing
- Manage inbound and outbound logistics activities.
- Coordinate with transporters for cost-effective and timely deliveries.
- Monitor warehouse operations, FIFO implementation, and inventory controls.
- Ensure proper documentation for dispatch and receiving activities. ERP & MIS Management
- Maintain procurement and inventory data in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.).




- Generate and analyze SCM MIS reports.
- Monitor SCM KPIs and identify improvement opportunities. Cost Reduction & Process Improvement
- Lead initiatives for inventory reduction and supply chain efficiency.
- Participate in Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, and Continuous Improvement projects.
- Support annual budgeting and cost-saving programs. Compliance & Audits
- Ensure adherence to company policies and procurement procedures.
- Support internal, statutory, customer, and ISO audits.
- Maintain proper documentation and records related to procurement and inventory. Educational Qualification
- BE/B.
Tech (Mechanical, Electrical, Production, Industrial Engineering) / Commerce Graduate.
- MBA / PGDM in Supply Chain, Operations, Materials Management preferred. Experience
- 5 to 8 years of experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, Planning, or Logistics.
- Experience in Manufacturing, Automotive, Engineering, EMS, or Industrial Products preferred.
- Exposure to ERP systems and inventory management practices. Technical Skills
