Experience:
1–2 Years Employment Type: Full-time TSOL, an architecture design company, is looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Quantity Surveyor (QS) to join our team in Kozhikode. The ideal candidate should have a positive understanding of quantity estimation, BOQ preparation, cost analysis, and construction documentation, with the ability to work closely with architects, consultants, and project teams.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and estimates from architectural and structural drawings.
- Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for construction and architectural projects.
- Conduct rate analysis for materials, labour, and construction activities.
- Assist in cost estimation, budgeting, and project cost planning.
- Review drawings and specifications to identify scope variations and discrepancies.
- Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, and vendors to clarify quantities and specifications.
- Obtain and compare vendor quotations and assist in material cost evaluation.
- Prepare measurement sheets, cost comparison statements, and estimation reports.




- Support tender documentation and evaluation.
- Assist in tracking project costs and preparing variation statements when required. Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of relevant experience in quantity surveying or construction estimation.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.
- Good understanding of construction materials, specifications, and measurement methods.
- Strong numerical, analytical, and organisational skills.
- Positive communication skills and attention to detail. Preferred Skills
- Experience in BOQ preparation and rate analysis.
- Familiarity with estimation software and construction cost management tools.
- Knowledge of local construction material and labour rates.
