Role & responsibilities
- Handle power transformers and accessories up to 400 kV class.
- Read and understand transformer assembly drawings, General Arrangement (GA) drawings and transportation details.
- Ensure quality, completeness and defect-free condition of transformers, components and accessories before packing.
- Supervise packing, loading and dispatch activities to ensure timely delivery.
- Coordinate with Production, Planning, Materials, Quality, Design, Marketing, Logistics and After-Sales teams.
- Monitor material movement and stock within the department.
- Handle export (EOU) shipment and transformer dispatch processes.
- Ensure proper preparation and verification of dispatch documents, including invoices, packing lists, E-Way Bills, LR and inspection reports.
- Escalate issues and delays to the concerned departments for timely resolution.
- Coordinate with Stores, Materials, Production and Logistics teams for smooth dispatch operations.
- Maintain departmental cleanliness and follow 5S practices to improve efficiency and workplace safety.




- Ensure adherence to quality standards and dispatch procedures.
- Operate ERP/MRP systems for dispatch and material-related activities. Skils Required
- Knowledge of power transformer handling and dispatch up to 400 kV class.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of packing, shipping, loading and dispatch procedures.
- Experience in export shipment activities.
- Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems.
- Familiarity with dispatch documentation and logistics processes.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Robust coordination, supervision and problem-solving skills. Preferred Candidate Profile
- Diploma / Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Relevant experience in transformer manufacturing, dispatch and packing operations.
- Candidates with experience in power transformer dispatch and export shipments will be preferred
