Whitefield, Bangalore Job Summary: Edify World School, Whitefield, is looking for a passionate and experienced English Teacher to teach Grades 9 and 10. The ideal candidate should have robust subject knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to prepare students for board examinations.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach English to students of Grades 9 and 10 as per the CBSE curriculum.
- Develop effective lesson plans and engaging classroom activities.
- Focus on grammar, reading, writing, literature, and comprehension skills.
- Prepare students for CBSE board examinations.
- Conduct regular assessments, assignments, and examinations.
- Monitor student performance and provide individual attention.
- Maintain classroom discipline and encourage active participation.
- Coordinate with parents and academic teams regarding student progress. Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in English.
- B.
Ed. qualification is mandatory/preferred as per school requirements.
- 2–5 years of teaching experience in English.
- Strong knowledge of CBSE curriculum and Grade 9 & 10 syllabus.
- Excellent English communication and classroom management skills.
