Production Supervisor CPB

Khalapur, Maharashtra Department: Production Designation: Production Supervisor – CPB Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary We are looking for a proactive and result-oriented Production Supervisor to oversee day-to-day production activities at our Khalapur facility. The candidate will be responsible for managing shop-floor operations, ensuring production targets are achieved, maintaining quality and safety standards, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth and effective manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise daily production activities and ensure adherence to production plans and targets.
- Monitor shop-floor operations to achieve productivity, quality, and delivery objectives.
- Allocate work to operators and ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machinery, and materials.
- Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and quality standards.
- Monitor production processes and identify opportunities to minimize rejection, rework, and wastage.
- Coordinate with the Quality, Maintenance, Stores, and Planning departments to resolve production-related issues.
- Ensure proper maintenance of production records, shift reports, and daily output reports.
- Implement 5S practices and maintain housekeeping standards on the shop floor.




- Ensure compliance with workplace safety procedures and the use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Identify process bottlenecks and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Train and guide operators to improve productivity, quality, and adherence to safety practices.
- Report production deviations, equipment breakdowns, and operational challenges to the reporting manager. Educational Qualification
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Production, or a related engineering discipline.
- Relevant technical qualifications may be considered based on experience. Experience
- 3–6 years of experience in production supervision within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Experience in shop-floor management, manpower handling, production planning, and quality control is preferred. Required Skills
