Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance mainframe applications using COBOL.
- Write, execute, and troubleshoot JCL jobs for batch processing.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Debug programs, identify issues, and perform root cause analysis.
- Monitor batch job execution and resolve job failures.
- Perform code reviews, unit testing, and application enhancements.
- Support production issues and ensure smooth application operations.
- Work closely with functional teams, technical teams, and stakeholders. Mandatory Technical Skills
- Minimum 4+ years of experience in Mainframe development.
- Strong hands-on experience in COBOL and JCL.
- Valuable knowledge of Mainframe environments.
- Experience in batch processing and job scheduling.
- Knowledge of debugging, troubleshooting, and production support.
- Understanding of VSAM and sequential files.
