SEO Content Editor Mover Search Marketing is a U.
S. SEO agency. For ten years we have helped moving companies and other local service businesses across the U.
S. and Canada get more leads. We're seeking an SEO Content Editor to oversee content quality, writer development, and editorial systems across multiple client accounts. You'll work directly with our Head of AI & SEO. The ideal candidate understands SEO, enjoys building processes, and knows how to help writers improve over time. How we create content: every page we publish for a client is written by a human writer following our procedures. We use AI for research and for checking work, never to write the copy. Our method is built on semantic SEO: entity coverage, topical authority, and answering the fan-out queries that AI search runs behind every question. You will be trained on how we do it, and you will help hold that line. This is a full-time, remote position on U.
S. Central business hours. Fluent written and spoken English is required.

- Create and maintain editorial SOPs, workflows, quality-control processes, and style guides
- Identify bottlenecks and improve editorial efficiency
- Build systems that help writers produce better content with fewer corrections Writer Development & Coaching
- Provide structured editorial and SEO feedback
- Conduct performance reviews and track writer growth
- Help writers improve content quality, SEO understanding, and self-sufficiency Content Review & SEO Oversight
- Review content for search intent, structure, entity coverage, internal linking, schema opportunities, and brief compliance
- Ensure content meets editorial and SEO standards before publication
- Collaborate with SEO leadership to improve content performance AI-Assisted Content Operations

- 3+ years of content editing experience
- Strong understanding of SEO and content optimization
- Experience building SOPs, workflows, style guides, or documentation
- Experience in coaching writers and providing performance feedback
- Strong English writing and communication skills
- Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or similar platforms
- Highly organized and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Own computer, secure internet, and a quiet workspace Preferred: agency experience; experience editing for local service, home service, or moving companies; experience with Ahrefs, SEMrush, Surfer SEO, Clearscope, or similar tools; and experience managing writers or an editorial team. At Mover Search Marketing, you'll work at the intersection of SEO, AI, editorial operations, and content strategy. You'll have direct influence over how our content systems evolve and how our writers develop. High-performing team members have a clear path toward Senior Editor and Editorial Director roles as the company continues to grow. Pay: ₹170,800.00
