SALES ENGINEER Position: Sales Engineer

Tech – Mechanical / Electrical Engineering JOB PURPOSE To drive sales and business development for EKKI-HOMA Pumps across Karnataka and Telangana by developing new customers, strengthening existing relationships, expanding the distributor/subdealer network, providing technical solutions, and achieving assigned sales targets.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Drive sales and business development across Karnataka, focusing on major cities and industrial markets. Generate leads, identify new business opportunities, conduct customer meetings, and convert opportunities into orders. Develop and maintain robust relationships with customers, OEMs, consultants, distributors, and subdealers. Identify, appoint, and develop distributors/sub-dealers in the assigned territory. Promote EKKI-HOMA Pumps by communicating product features, technical advantages, efficiency, reliability, and application benefits. Conduct technical presentations, product demonstrations,



and application discussions. Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable pump solutions based on application and technical specifications. Prepare quotations and coordinate with internal teams for order processing, delivery, service, and customer support. Conduct market and competitor analysis and provide regular market intelligence to management. Maintain accurate customer, lead, opportunity, and sales activity records through CRM/MIS. Travel extensively across the assigned territory for customer development and business generation. CANDIDATE PROFILE Diploma / BE / B.
Tech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. Minimum 5 years of sales experience, preferably in the pump industry. Experience in selling dewatering pumps, industrial pumps, or related pumping solutions preferred. Strong technical understanding with the ability to explain pump applications and specifications. Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and customer relationship management skills. Experience in distributor/channel development and OEM sales will be an advantage.
