Faculty – Finance (MBA Elevate Program) Position Assistant / Associate Professor – Finance Program MBA Elevate (2-Year, Full-Time) Department Finance & Accounting Location TIMS, Lucknow Experience Minimum 7 years of teaching experience Employment Type Full-Time ABOUT MBA ELEVATE MBA Elevate is the flagship management program at Techno Institute of Management Sciences, designed to develop industry-ready business leaders with strong analytical, communication, and strategic skills. The program emphasises a premium learning experience through rigorous academics, real-world case studies, and close industry engagement. ROLE OVERVIEW We are looking for a passionate and experienced Finance faculty member to teach core and elective finance courses within the MBA Elevate program. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of strong academic credentials, practical industry awareness, and the ability to make financial concepts accessible and engaging for postgraduate students.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deliver lectures, tutorials, and case-based sessions for finance courses such as Financial Management, Corporate Finance, Financial Markets & Institutions, Investment Analysis, and Management Accounting.
- Design and update course curriculum, lesson plans, and assessment frameworks in line with AICTE guidelines and current industry practices.
- Mentor and guide students on academic projects, summer internships, and placement preparation related to finance roles.
- Train and prepare students for NICM certification by delivering specialised training sessions, developing relevant learning materials,



and helping students build the knowledge and practical skills required for certification.
- Contribute to research, seminars, and faculty development programs to support the academic standards of the MBA Elevate program.
- Participate in internal committees, accreditation processes, and institutional development activities. QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Essential: MBA / PGDM in Finance (or equivalent) from a recognised institution.
- Preferred: NET / SET / Ph.
D. (completed or pursuing) in Finance, Commerce, or a related discipline is preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of teaching experience in finance subjects at the postgraduate (MBA/PGDM) level.
- Hands-on familiarity with financial modelling tools, ERP systems, or stock-market simulation platforms is a plus.
- Prior experience in training students for professional finance certifications, particularly NICM certification, will be an added advantage. DESIRED SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage large classrooms.
- Solid conceptual clarity in core finance areas – accounting, valuation, risk management, and capital markets.
- Ability to integrate current business events and case studies into classroom teaching.
- Proficiency in academic technology – LMS platforms, presentation tools, and data-analysis software.
- Ability to conduct certification-oriented training sessions and prepare students for professional finance certifications.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across departments and with industry partners.
- Commitment to student development, mentorship, and continuous self-improvement.
