Bangalore / Hyderabad Employment Type: Full-Time Notice Period: Immediate Joiners / Short Notice Preferred Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Physical Design Engineer with 3+ years of hands-on experience in VLSI Physical Design. The candidate should have solid knowledge of RTL-to-GDSII implementation, physical design flows, timing optimization, and physical verification.

Key Responsibilities
- Work on end-to-end Physical Design activities from RTL-to-GDSII.
- Perform Floorplanning, Power Planning, Placement, Clock Tree Synthesis (CTS), and Routing.
- Handle Static Timing Analysis (STA) and timing closure.
- Perform setup and hold timing analysis and optimization.
- Analyze and resolve congestion, DRC, and signal integrity issues.
- Work on power, performance, and area (PPA) optimization.
- Perform physical verification and ensure design quality.
- Collaborate with RTL, DFT, and verification teams to resolve design issues. Required Skills
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in VLSI Physical Design.
- Strong understanding of RTL-to-GDSII flow.
- Experience in Floorplanning, Placement, CTS,



and Routing.
- Good knowledge of Static Timing Analysis (STA).
- Hands-on experience with timing closure and optimization.
- Knowledge of setup/hold violations, clock skew, and congestion analysis.
- Experience with Physical Verification – DRC and LVS.
- Understanding of low-power design concepts.
- Experience with EDA tools such as Synopsys ICC2 / Fusion Compiler / PrimeTime or Cadence Innovus.
- Knowledge of Linux/Unix and scripting (Tcl, Perl or Python) is preferred. Education

Tech in ECE, EEE, Electronics, VLSI, or a related discipline. Preferred Skills
- Experience in advanced technology nodes.
- Experience in block-level or full-chip Physical Design.
- Knowledge of UPF and multi-voltage design concepts.
