Housekeeping Assistant ensures guest rooms and public areas are spotless, clean , sanitary, and welcoming for the guest. Job

Responsibilities:
- Room Maintenance: Clean and service guest rooms, bathrooms, and corridors according to hotel or resort standards.
- Replenishment: Change linens, make beds, and restock toiletries, towels, and mini-bar supplies.
- Sanitation: Vacuum carpets, dust furniture, polish surfaces, and sanitize bathrooms daily.
- Guest Interaction: Greet guests warmly, respond to immediate requests (e.g., extra pillows), and maintain privacy while respecting "Do Not Disturb" signs.
- Inventory & Equipment: Safely handle and operate cleaning equipment, chemicals, and loaded housekeeping carts across the facility.
- Reporting & Safety: Report maintenance issues (e.g., broken bulbs or leaks) and promptly hand in any "Lost and Found" items.



Qualifications and Requirements

Education:
High school diploma or equivalent is often preferred.

Experience:
Previous housekeeping, custodial, or guest service experience in a hotel or resort is helpful but not always required.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift heavy items or push cleaning carts for long shifts.
